The Silver Meteor
Amtrak's Silver Meteor service from New York Penn Station to Miami inherits its name from a similar service inaugurated by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad in 1939. The route largely duplicates Amtrak's Silver Star service with the exception that service between Orlando and Tampa on the Silver Meteor is provided by bus.
These photos are from a single one-way trip I took on the Silver Meteor in 2014 from Washington, DC to Tampa.
