Silver Meteor: Tampa, FL
Tampa Union Station is an Italian Renaissance building that served the Atlantic Coast Line, the Seaboard Air Line, and the Tampa Northern railroads. After deterioration led to closure in 1984, Tampa Union Station Preservation and Redevelopment Corporation raised over $4 million from a variety of sources to restore the facility, which reopened in 1999.
