Warehouse Pier D
The twisted remains of two large lighterage (hand-loaded cargo) pier warehouses
used to sit at the south end of the 60th Street Railyard waterfront. The more erect
of the two was Pier D. A portion of the pier was removed in 2003, probably to dissuade
urban explorers from attempting to climb onto the ruins at low tide. I believe Comic Times was
a magazine.
