West 59th Street
West 59th Street is the southern boundary of San Juan Hill. The two blocks of the neighborhood between 59th Street and 61st Street were spared by the development of Amsterdam Houses in the late 1940s, but much of what remained was demolished for construction of large luxury residential buildings in the early 21st Century.
