Giovanni Lepri (1850-1860)Giovanni Lepri (1850-1860); Italian dancer and teacher, he was a pupil of Blasis. He became a principal dancer at Milan's La Scala in 1857, but taught mostly in Florence where Cecchetti was among his pupils. He is a direct link between Blasis and Cecchetti to the teaching methods of classical ballet today.
