Geographical Data
- ST: US Postal Service two-letter state abbreviation
- Name: The name of the state or county
- GEOID: Fully-qualified GEOIDs derived from Federal Information Pocessing Standards (FIPS) codes. These can be used to join with other USCB data tables and TIGER shapefiles.
- Latitude: Latitude of the state's centroid
- Longitude: Longitude of the state's centroid
- Land Square Miles: Land area in square miles from the USCB
- Water Square Miles: Water area in square miles from the USCB
2012 Election Results
- Winner 2012: Obama (Democratic) or Romney (Republican)
- Votes Dem 2012: Number of votes for the Democratic candidate
- Percent Dem 2012: Percent of total votes for the Democratic candidate
- Votes GOP 2012: Number of votes for the GOP (Republican) candidate
- Percent GOP 2012: Percent of total votes for the GOP(Republican) candidate
- Votes Total 2012: Total votes in the presidential race. Inclusion of write-ins, undervotes, and overvotes varies by state.
