The Wiltern Theatre is in the base of the 12-story Art Deco Pellissier Building. It is named after its location on the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue. After falling into disrepair in the 1970s, the theatre was restored in 1981, and when I visited in 2013 was primarily a music venue operated by Live Nation.
