This 12-story building from 1922 met the wrecking ball just after
I left town in 2010. My memories of it were as one of the homes
of Broadway Dance Center, where I took a few classes in the 1990s.
It was demolished to make way for a
50-story mixed use tower,
although it was just an empty lot when I visited in 2012. The project
may have been caught up in a preservation battle over the remnants of
Automobile Row, notably the B.F. Goodrich building next door at
225 West 57th.
