The Paramount was a lavish French Renaissance style building that is notable as the site of Frank Sinatra's raucous debut as a solo artist in 1943. The theatre was completely gutted and converted to office space in 1965, although the facade was recreated in 2001. A very large and ugly theatre in the basement of Madison Square Garden was also known as the Paramount Theatre.
