Lincoln Square Theatres

Lincoln Square was home to a number of live theatres during the early 20th Century, although hopes for turning it into a thriving uptown theatre district never quite came to fruition until, ironically, most of these theatres were torn down in the urban renewal that also created Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
