111 Reade Street (Just East of West Broadway)

Worth Street Theatre Company was founded by in 1995 by artistic director Jeff Cohen in a tiny storefront on at West Broadway and Worth Street. The group moved to the larger TriBeCa Playhouse in 1998. However, as the closest theatre to the World Trade Center, the company was forced out of business relatively soon after the 9/11/2001 WTC attack.
