Built by Henry Miller and served as a lovely, intimate, three-tiered legit theatre until 1969. Past productions included Our Town (1938), Born Yesterday (1948), The Subject was Roses (1965), Urinetown (2001). Spent time as a porn movie house and nightclub before reopening in 1998 with a revival of Cabaret. Her charm outlived her economic usefulness and the body of the theatre was destroyed in 2004 with the landmarked facade incorporated into a new skyscraper that included a completely new subterranean Broadway theatre.
