Citi Field is well-served by transportation, including the Willets Point station on the IRT #7 subway line (actually elevated at this point on its run) and a seasonal-use station on the Long Island Railroad's Port Washington Branch, located near Roosevelt Avenue, which is only used during Mets games, the US Open tennis tournament and in emergencies when riders are transferred to the #7 train. The area is also the location of the MTA subway Corona Yard.
