Greengap Arch
Built in 1861 by Calvert Vaux and Jacob Wrey Mould
Stone arch vehicle bridge
Carries East Drive over a closed pedestrian walkway
Used to span a bridle path before the southern section of the path was removed during the 1934 expansion of Heckscher Playground. Later converted to a walkway to the zoo. Used as a storage area when I visited in the Summer of 2007.
