The Agriculture Building was originally home to the College of Agriculture and featured a stock pavillion in the central section. The building was renamed in 1947 for Eugene Davenport, a former university vice president and dean of the College of Agriculture. The building was the home of the UIUC Department of Geography from 1957 to 2014.
