Eudora Welty Library
Jackson, MS
Main library located on the site of the old Sears, Roebuck and Co. store and named after the famous Jackson native. The Old modernist municipal library from 1954 still stands across the street and is notable as the location of a sit-in by the Tougaloo Nine during the civil rights movement.
