Stanley PAC

Utica, NY

Opened: 1928

Seats: 2,945

Architect: Thomas Lamb

Built for the Mastbaum chain of theatres and named for one of the Mastbaum brothers. Design is called "Mexican baroque" for its unique blend of diverse styles. The Central New York Community Arts Council, Inc. purchased the Stanley in 1974 and has made incremental renovations over the years to restore the theatre to its original condition. Sadly, I've never played here, having two scheduled shows cancelled.
