Opened as a venue for both live theatre and film by A.W. Stoolman and named after Stoolman's daughter. Italian Renaissance exterior and Spanish Renaissance interior. Acquired by the Champaign Park District in 2000 and underwent major renovations in 2000 and 2012.
Television induces a trance state in the viewer that is the necessary precondition for brainwashing. As with all other drugs and technologies, television's basic character cannot be changed; television is no more reformable than is the technology that produces automatic assault rifles.
