14-screen monstrosity in an overscaled mixed use development in the South Loop. The Kerasotes chain started with a single nickelodeon in Springfield, IL in 1909, ultimately growing to almost 100 facilities, primarily in the Midwest. Most of the theatres were sold to AMC Entertainment in 2010, with four facilities (including this one) remaining and retaining the Kerasotes name.
It's really hard to talk about morality and war in the same sentence. Where was the morality in the bombing of Coventry, or the bombing of Dresden, or the Bataan Death March, or the Rape of Nanking, or the bombing of Pearl Harbor? I believe that when you're in a war, a nation must have the courage to do what it must to win the war with a minimum loss of lives. (Theodore Van Kirk, Navigator on the Enola Gay)
