The Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago was founded in 1972 as a presenter of art films. This state-of-the-art facility opened on June 1, 2001 and is named in honor of a film critic who had a very popular public television show with Roger Ebert in the 1970s and 1980s.
Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it. (Mark Twain)
