Weber's Closeout
Weber's Closeout used to occupy a fairly large retail space
here on Broadway between 71st and 72nd Streets. It was mostly
cheap plastic stuff that wouldn't sell anywhere else, although
the cheap backpack I bought there in 2001 lasted me for a number
of years - and the orange-handled hammer was perfectly adequate
for around the home use. Not sure what the store's history
was, although they used to have locations dotted around Manhattan
until rental rates made them economically unviable.
