320 Amsterdam
When I first got to New York in the early 1990s, 320 Amsterdam
was a gas station. It then became a homeless haven, a parking lot,
a large and very noisy hole in the ground before becoming the
Samuel Priest Rose Building, a Jewish Community Center.
