Hunter Rye Ghost Sign
By far, the most majestic ghost sign I have ever seen in New York City
was the richly-colored Hunter Rye sign that was exposed when 1930 Broadway
(at 64th street) was demolished. Promptly recovered by a new brick tower,
hopefully it is preserved for a future audience in the 22nd century.
