47 West 57th Street (at Sixth Ave.)
Given McDonalds explosive growth around the world and
ubiquity around the country, I was surprised to
see one close - apparently the victim of sky-high rents
that can only be paid by high-margin (and fundamentally
socially useless) boutique retail.
