Loew's Victoria Theatre233 West 125th Street The 2,345-seat Victoria Theatre was designed by Thomas Lamb and opened in 1917. The theatre stayed in operation until some time in the late 1960s or early 1970s. It was subdivided into a five-plex briefly in the 1980s. A number of plans were floated in the 2000s for renovation into some kind of hotel, residential and/or arts facility, but when I visited in the fall of 2008, it was still vacant. (reference)
