Webster Hall

125 East 11th Street (between 3rd and 4th Avenues)

Architect: Charles Rentz

A night club, concert venue, recording studio and corporate events venue. Webster Hall opened in 1886 as a night club.

In the 1950s, it served as an RCA records recording studio and its cavernous reverb graces the recordings of artists as diverse as Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and Maynard Ferguson. It was also where the original cast albums of Hello, Dolly and Fiddler on the Roof were recorded.
