107th Infantry Memorial

This monument to the Seventh Regiment, 107th Infantry Division that served in World War I was dedicated on September 27, 1927. The sculpture was created by Karl Illava based on his own experiences as a seargant in the 107th and it is mounted on a granite platform designed by architects Rogers and Haneman. The monument is just to the west of the Seventh Regiment Armory on Park Avenue. (reference)
