96th Street Subway Station
The 96th Street IRT Subway Station was part of New York's first subway system and opened on 27 October, 1904. As with the express stops at Brooklyn Bridge and 14th Street, it has both center and side platforms. It underwent a 40-month, $65 million renovation designed by Urbahn Associates and Daniel Frankfurt PC (reference, reference).
