The Lake Shore Limited: Toledo, OH

Toledo's Union Terminal was opened in 1950 as a replacement for a Gothic terminal built in 1886. The design by Robert Crosbie is an odd mix of Art Deco and modernism, and features extensive use of glass block inspired by Toledo's glass industry. The terminal was built by the New York Central RR, but also served the B&O, Chesapeake and Ohio, and Wabash Railroads.
